Kauri Green is a masterplanned community designed by DKO Architecture. It features three precincts, each drawing from the history of the area and showcased through subtle architectural themes and mixed construction materials for a distinctive look. The Kauri Forest – Stage 1

To the western side of the site, inspiration for homes in The Kauri Forest comes from the area’s rich history of kauri trees. This is reflected through the use of warm and natural materials like timber, a focus on greenery and landscaping, and vertical accents to bring to mind a forest environment.

Running alongside ‘Lawsons Creek’ which gives this precinct its name, the larger family homes situated in The Creek are simple, calm, and of enduring design. Earthy tones, use of brick and subtle material contrasts, and the varying traditional roof pitches echo the flowing form of its namesake.

The Orchard lies within the heart of the development, where the simple repetition and placement of the townhouses is inspired by the original orchards that were once planted in the area. Subtly accentuated vertical elements and timber features further reference this precinct’s theme.
